Originally designed to detect SSVEP brain wave patterns, this algorithm and application analyzes time-domain signals using a technique inspired by real-world kinetic physics. The signal is analyzed at every sample in real time without any windowing functions, allowing it to break down audio signals at a higher speed and temporal resolution than FFT or Gammatone filters.
Fed up with the overly-complicated landscape of file encryption programs, I created an extremely small (<10KB) Java program that can be copied into any folder and run to encrypt all files in that folder. Its operation could not be simpler - just type a password to encrypt or decrypt.

Doggo is a quadrupedal walking robot inspired by Boston Dynamics' Big Dog. Doggo is unique among small robotics projects in that it has legs much taller than it's body. This made reliable locomotion very challenging; check out the Reddit Post for more info.
Using dozens of datasets, I created a mathematical and computer model to predict flight volume between any two given airports. This allowed us to more accurately model the spread of influenza between cities and countries where flight volume data doesn't exist.
Photon motion in General Relativistic conditions, such as near black holes, is an interesting topic of study. This project demonstrated how Fermat’s Surface approximation of space-time curvature as a continuous refractive index can be used to calculate geodesic paths of photons on a discrete-time, step-by-step basis in an interactive and real-time simulation. Doing so allows the estimation of photon motion in complex situations where multiple, in-motion black holes are present. Read the Paper or See the Code
SPROUT is the codename for the SIR PRediction and Optimization UTility I developed at Predictive Science. Sprout uses a custom genetic optimizer and Runge-Kutta to fit the SIR (Susceptible-Infected-Recovered) differential equation to a given year's flu incidence. Features included a database of flu trends by year and country as well as a web interface for selecting country, year, range, and optimization technique.
